Aries (March 21-April 19)

Aries are known to be adventurous, so they’ll need a filling lunch to keep these energetic guests fueled for their active days.

We recommend the Fried Chicken Plate, a lunch favorite served with green beans, mashed potatoes & gravy, and a biscuit. Or they can’t go wrong with a top seller like the Classic Burger, complete with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and red onions.  

 

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

People born during under the Taurus sign often seek comfort and indulgence. We definitely can help with that! “Comfort and indulgence” is our middle name. 

For these laid back and hard working folks, we suggest our indulgent 3 Cheese Grilled Cheese, featuring Cheddar, Swiss, and provel cheese on grilled white bread (they can even add ham, bacon and/or tomato). Another option?  Biscuits & Sausage Gravy. Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Geminis are energetic, curious, and love variety. The Metro Diner menu is full of variety – from breakfast all day to salads, hearty entrees, and everything in between.

First up, we recommend our Steak & Scramble Bowl which comes piled with a variety of fillings, flavors, and textures – starting with hashbrown potatoes on the bottom, then scrambled eggs, roasted tomatoes, seasoned sirloin steak, and a drizzle of creamy Hollandaise sauce.  Another great lunch order for this social butterfly sign is our Fried Chicken & Waffles – which is our social butterfly of the menu – it gets along with everybody :). 

 

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Cancer signs tend to seek comfort and security, so we think these emotionally intelligent guests would appreciate a warm, comforting lunch, too!

We recommend something a little more traditional – a sure lunch-order win: the Iron City Meatloaf. This plate, featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, comes with mashed potatoes & gravy, and green beans.  Speaking of comfort… our Chicken Pot Pie  also fits the bill for these water signs. Loaded with tender chicken, carrots, celery, and corn, then topped with a biscuit crust, this creamy lunch order brings joy to everyone it meets. Just like the lovely Cancer signs.  

 

Leo (July 23-August 22)

Leos are confident and enjoy being the center of attention. For this showy sign, we recommend two guest-favorites worthy of the hubbub. 

Our Philly Cheese Steak is a great option and a crowd favorite. Sink your teeth into seasoned beef topped with grilled onions and peppers, melted provel cheese on a toasted hoagie roll. Leos are known to be a little… extra. And so is our Double Decker BLT! This isn’t an ordinary BLT – it includes three slices of toast, piles of crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo.

 

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

Virgos are detail-oriented and like to keep things organized. We think this practical, modest sign would appreciate more straight forward menu items that may lean a little healthier. 

Our Roasted Turkey Plate is among the most practical lunch orders at Metro Diner. Featuring healthy portions of protein, veggies, and starches. Just because it’s sensible, doesn’t make it boring – in fact, this popular dish consistently ranks high among our top 10 most ordered lunch items. We also recommend the Chicken Salad Croissant. This sandwich features roasted chicken, chopped pecans, grapes, celery, and mayo. Served on a flaky croissant with lettuce and sliced tomato.

 

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

Libras value balance and symmetry, so they might prefer a lunch that provides a balance of flavors and textures.

Our Soup & Sandwich Combo is the perfect balance of hot & cold, flaky & smooth.  Plus, Libras are known have sensitive stomachs – so keeping it simple with this order could satisfy hunger and avoid discomfort.  For those symmetry seeking Libras, we recommend our eye-pleasing Huevos Rancheros. In this order, they’ll find an interesting combination of flavors and textures: eggs cooked to order served over sun-dried tomato tortilla shells, bacon, sausage, back beans, onions, tomatoes, roasted corn, and green peppers. Topped with cheese, sour cream, salsa, fried jalapeños, and green onions. 

 

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

Scorpios are intense and mysterious, so they might like a lunch with bold flavors. And we’ve got a lot of bold choices.

Our Spicy Honey Chicken Sandwich will tantalize Scorpio tase buds with that memorable combination of sweet-meets-heat of the buttermilk marinated chicken dipped in our signature spicy honey sauce.  Another bold flavor choice is our BBQ Bacon Burger.  100% Angus burger, hickory smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, and BBQ sauce. Scorpios can be a little fanatical – so look out! These popular handhelds could easily become their next obsession.

 

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

An item you will see on our official lunch menu sure to appeal to this fire sign includes our Meat Lover’s Scramble Bowl. This bowl is piled high with a variety of ingredients: hashbrowns, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, and scrambled eggs. Then, it’s topped with marinated pork, drizzled with jalapeño Hollandaise and a zig-zag of sour cream. While at first blush The Bissell Breakfast may seem pretty standard (it is our “traditional breakfast platter” available all day…), the cool thing about this dish is there are a ton of variations you can explore! Scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, and hashbrowns… done. Fried eggs, sausage, toast, and grits… as you wish. Poached eggs, Canadian bacon, and hashbrowns… sure! Plus, it comes with a short stack of pancakes, too. What’s not to like!?

 

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

Capricorns are responsible and hardworking, so they might like a lunch that gives them energy for the day ahead.  We can assist with that.

When we think energy, we think a well-rounded meal that includes protein, carbs and some veggies… our Chicken Tender Salad fits the bill. Buttermilk marinated tenders served over greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, shredded carrots, red onions, and tortilla crunch, tossed in a dressing of your choice (we recommend honey mustard). This disciplined sign can also order the salad with grilled tenders. Another nutrition-packed option is our Westerm Omelet, stuffed with ham, cheddar cheese, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and peppers, topped with salsa and served with choice of hashbrowns or grits. Available all day.

 

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

Aquarians are independent and innovative, so we recommend a lunch that is a bit unique and creative like them!

We think this air sign would appreciate our Breakfast Burger – a fun twist of breakfast-meets-lunch. This burger features a 100% Angus beef, cheddar cheese, hashbrowns, lettuce, tomato, bacon, an egg any style, and Hollandaise sauce. We can’t help but think these imaginative water signs would appreciate our Metro Shrimp & Grits. This creative dish includes our signature grits infused with cheese, roasted red peppers and andouille sausage. Topped with shrimp, sausage, onions and peppers in a shrimp sauce.  Another order we recommend is our Fish & Chips.
