About Metro Diner
Metro Diner’s story began in 1938 when the building that would become the first location opened in Jacksonville, Florida. Officially branded in 1992, Metro Diner quickly became the go-to local restaurant for comforting classics and reimagined favorites.
With the help of Master Chef Mark Davoli and his family, Metro Diner continued to grow and even earned a spot on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Fieri raved about many Metro signature items including our Iron City Meatloaf. This griddle-seared favorite, alongside the celebrated Fried Chicken & Waffle, remains the backbone of Metro Diner’s bold and innovative menu offerings.
What food is Metro Diner known for? Ask Guy Fieri.
How standout is our menu? Enough to make Guy Fieri exclaim, “Diners across the world have to take a lesson from this one” after trying our meatloaf during his visit for an episode of “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.”
Whether you’re in the mood for a classic omelet breakfast and strong coffee, layered club sandwich and a mimosa, or juicy fried chicken and sweet tea, Metro Diner has craveable signature dishes our fans enjoy in our diners, for pickup, and delivery.
