Metro Diner prepares for Bham area restaurant opening

Metro Diner will offer its comfort foods starting March 26 at 2050 Gadsden Hwy. in Trussville in a 3,600-square-foot restaurant.

The eatery, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all day, features a made-from-scratch kitchen that also serves gluten-friendly options. Beer, wine, mimosas and Bloody Marys are also available. Seating totals 108 on the inside and 20 on a patio.

“Guests feel at home when they come to Metro Diner because we welcome them as if they are coming to our own house,” said Trussville Metro Diner Managing Partner Peter Cooper. “Metro Diner is known as the place where ‘the locals eat’ and we hope to be the new go-to destination where our Trussville diners turn into regulars.”
