Metro Diner will hold soft opening next weekend in Aiken, open to the public Jan. 15
Metro Diner will officially open Tuesday, Jan. 15. It will feature seating for up to 122 guests and will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.
“Guests feel at home when they come to Metro Diner because we welcome them as if they are coming to our own house,” said Aiken Metro Diner Managing Partner Brandon Coker in a press release. “Metro Diner is known as the place where ‘the locals eat’ and we hope to be the new go-to destination where our Aiken diners turn into regulars.”
The press release promises "new twists on traditional dishes" and made-from-scratch food, with breakfast, lunch and dinner being served all day.
Portion sizes are large, and most are priced under $15, according to the release. There will be daily blackboard specials, a full-service bar and gluten-free options on the menu.
Metro Diner is located at 1944 Whiskey Road.
