AUGUSTA, Ga. (WFXG) - Mother’s Day is coming up this Sunday, May 11, and Metro Diner has something sweet in store for moms.

Michael Hixon of Metro Diner Augusta stopped by FOX54 studios to share and demonstrate their banana bread lineup.

On set, Chef Hixon prepared the Banana Bread Waffle, Metro Diner’s signature Belgian waffle infused with sliced bananas, then topped with a mix of banana and vanilla pudding, sweet vanilla wafers, whipped cream, and powdered sugar.

Along with this delicious creation, he also showcased banana bread pancakes and banana bread pudding.
