About Metro Diner's Seasonal Flavors
Tis the season for everything Pumpkin! As fall ramps up, Metro Diner heats up the griddle to serve guests the beloved Pumpkin Pancakes, Waffles, and Bread Pudding. Available September through Thanksgiving, the Pumpkin seasonal flavor is one guests especially look forward to every year.
Metro Diner likes to keep guests on their feet by offering rotating flavors of pancakes, waffles, and bread pudding dessert! Options change every 6-8 weeks so guests can try new combinations when they visit. We often mix up the seasonal flavor inspiration, trying new ones based on guest feedback and current foodie trends. Past favorites have included not only Pumpkin but also Lemon Blueberry, Apple Cinnamon, S'mores, and more!

Buffalo Chicken for the win.
Meet our new saucy trio. For a limited time at Metro this Fall, we’re tossing our buttermilk-marinated fried chicken in a tangy buffalo sauce and serving it three delicious ways: in a cozy oven bake, stacked sandwich, and crisp salad.
- Buffalo Chicken Oven Bake
Tangy buffalo chicken over creamy mashed potatoes and hashbrowns, topped with mac & cheese, mixed cheese, and scallions. - Buffalo Chicken Sandwich
Buttermilk marinated and fried chicken tossed in a tangy buffalo sauce, topped with cool coleslaw and crisp onion rings. Served with fries a pickle, and choice of ranch or blue cheese. - Buffalo Chicken Salad
Fried chicken tenders tossed in a tangy buffalo sauce, over greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, shredded cabbage, carrots, and red onions, with tortilla crunch and choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing.

Metro Diner Knoxville is among our newest diners to open in 2025. Located at 6546 Clinton Highway, the 3,500-square-foot restaurant seats 102 guests and is the brand's second Tennessee diner, following its popular Murfreesboro location.
