Celebrate National Cheeseburger Day at Metro Diner
In time for National Cheeseburger Day celebrated on Monday, September 18, Metro Diner is unveiling its twist on the juicy handheld with their Loaded Burger Bowl featuring a 100% Angus burger that’s topped with melted American cheese, crisp lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions, pickles and, drizzled with a secret sauce – all served over seasoned fries.
Additional bowls Metro Diner is cooking up include:
- Teriyaki Steak Bowl: Seasoned sirloin steak, drizzled with a sweet teriyaki sauce, topped with scallions and served over white rice and a veggie mix of shredded carrots, red cabbage, corn, green peppers, and onion.
- Hawaiian Pork Bowl: Marinated pork topped with scallions and diced jalapenos, drizzled with a kickin’ pineapple-orange sauce and served over white rice and a veggie mix of shredded carrots, red cabbage, corn, green peppers, and onion.
For a sweet treat, Metro Diner has also launched their seasonal Pumpkin Griddles featuring homemade bread pudding, pancakes and a Belgian waffle all infused with pumpkin, topped with cream cheese icing, candied pecans, and cinnamon butter.
