Metro Diner debuts 'Express' concept here in Orlando

Floridian “comfort food with flair” chain Metro Diner has opened their very first “Metro Diner Express” concept in Orlando.

Operated out of their University Boulevard location, Metro Diner Express offers accelerated dine-in, curbside pickup, delivery, all-day breakfast and customizable menu options for those who are hankering for Metro’s fried chicken and waffles a lil’ faster.

Metro Diner in Orlando, The City Beautiful

Metro Diner’s story began in 1938 when the building that would become the first location opened in Jacksonville, Florida. Officially branded in 1992, Metro Diner quickly became the go-to local restaurant for comforting classics and reimagined favorites.

Today, Metro Diner has over 60 locations including a number of award-winning locations in the Orlando, Florida area. Orlando locations include UCF’s nearby Oviedo diner, as well as a diners in Altamonte Springs, Casselberry, and Kissimmee.
