Metro Diner’s story began in 1938 when the building that would become the first location opened in Jacksonville, Florida. Officially branded in 1992, Metro Diner quickly became the go-to local restaurant for comforting classics and reimagined favorites.
Opened in January 2019, Metro Diner Aiken is located on Whiskey Road, minutes from Eastgate Shopping Center and the Regal Aiken Mall. Metro Diner is the perfect place to fuel up before a sporting event at nearby University of South Carolina Aiken or after a picturesque stroll through the Hopelands Gardens.
Our diner stays true to our humble roots with must-try signature items like Fried Chicken & Waffles and our famous Iron City Meatloaf (as featured on Guy Fieri’s Diner, Drive-ins and Dives).
